Captain Kidd is a Jinxian pirate encountered by Richard Schultz-Mann while studying Stage Trees on Mira Ceti-T. [1]
He was described as looking like the cartoon of a heavy-planet man, with muscularity as smooth and solid as an elephant's. He wore a captain's hat. Kidd may or may not be his actual name.[1]
He claimed to have accidentally discovered the Puppeteer's homeworld and have turned to piracy after concluding blackmailing the Puppeteers to keep the location secret would be too risky. He and a company of friends then proceeded to take money from passing puppeteer ships until satiated.[1]
Eventually, they were tracked on their way to Jinx and pursued by human authorities.[1]
He died on Mira Ceti-T after accidentally igniting a multistage Stage Tree while pursuing Richard Schultz-Mann.[1]
